The U.S. attorney's office in Brooklyn on Monday revealed they are in plea negotiations with three more defendants in the federal criminal case involving NXVIM co-founder Keith Raniere. The disclosure by the U.S. attorney's office, during a court proceeding in Brooklyn, came five days after NXIVM President Nancy Salzman, who had been Raniere's second in command, pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy. In pleading guilty, Salzman became the first person convicted in the Justice Department's criminal prosecution of the Colonie-based organization's leaders.​
